Comprendre les enjeux de l'agriculture

The Franco-Moroccan group Azura, a key player in tomato production, operates around fifty production sites, particularly in Agadir and Dakhla. To meet its environmental strategy, Azura has entered into a partnership with Suez for the valorization of over 110,000 tons of organic waste generated by its activities.

The contracts, lasting for six years, include two types of services:
– Composting platforms capable of producing 42,000 tons of natural fertilizers.
– Solid recovered fuel (SRF) production facilities.

Composting amendment offers numerous advantages, improving soil quality and enhancing water retention. Initiated in 2020, this project envisions the commercialization of compost to agricultural producers in these regions.
