Biodiversity is gradually under threat in the United Kingdom. This poses a real challenge to agriculture, as it deprives crops of valuable natural allies such as pollinators or pest predators. Without bees to pollinate fields or microorganisms to enrich soils, agricultural yields plummet, endangering food security. However, solutions exist: diversify crops, preserve natural habitats with hedges or flower strips and reduce the use of pesticides. By taking care of nature, farmers can not only protect their crops, but also build a more sustainable future.
